New Vision and Save the Needy Tanzania provide support to Hanang DC flood victims

Date 31 December 2023 New Vision Group in collaboration with Save The Need Tanzania and C FM Radio together have provided support for various items including mixed clothes for mothers and children, shoes for different ages, utensils, soap, notebooks and sugar.

 

Handing over the equipment, the treasurer of New Vision Group Ms. Winfrida Kulanga has explained how they were affected by the incident and that is why she reached the decision to invite various stakeholders to contribute what they have to help the victims.

Regarding the spirit of self-sacrifice Ms. Winfrida Kulanga has encouraged the people of Dodoma and Tanzanians in general to have a spirit of giving especially when you see a fellow member of the community is in need of something and you see that it is within your power or by involving others to help him.

Speaking on behalf of Save The Need Tanzania, Executive Director Mr.  Geofrey Kulanga has explained that Tanzanians are one and when someone has a problem, we must separate him from the family instead of leaving him alone and when he has a problem, we must hold his hand and that is Tanzania.

Expressing gratitude after receiving the aid of various items, the Head of Hanang District Ms. Janeth Mayanja said that the aid provided is going to increase the strength of the flood victims to continue to have the needs of various items.

In addition, he said that all the aid received there reaches the relevant beneficiaries and continues to inspire other institutions, organizations and individuals to continue to commit themselves to whatever they are given.
